Open Pluggable Specification
With this new player, spo-comm is bringing to the market the first PC to meet the open pluggable specification. The open pluggable specification has been developed to simplify and standardise digital signage applications. The player is easy to plug in to a suitable Professional Monitor and is immediately ready for use. This does not require a separate power supply or connection cables. The dimensions of the embedded PCs meet the open pluggable specification: 180 x 30 x 119 mm without mounting frame and 200 x 30 x 119 mm with mounting frame.

eWhen it comes to performance, the spo-comm OPS is fully up-to-date: it is the first spo-book to feature Intel Skylake technology. The powerful Intel Core i5-6200U processor combines with up to 16 gigabytes of memory to enable the running of high-resolution applications. What is more, 4K content can be played back via the OPS’s own JAE connector. With the advancement of processor architecture, Intel has also significantly reduced the power requirements of the CPU. Integrated SmartFan technology ensures that the embedded PC is always optimally cooled.
