The rough and loud environment in the production halls has some special requirements for the digital information systems. On one hand, the information that is displayed has to be noticed in the ambient conditions mentioned above. And on the other hand, there has to be a reliable hardware. For the display the digital signage software pin from m.i.b. was used. Its flexibility enables to solve individual requirements without any problems. As a player the WINDBOX II is used. The fanless design minimizes the danger of pollution, as well as the risk of a system failure. This effect is supported by the low power consumption of only 14 Watt.
Conclusion
The combination of the fitting hardware and software lead to the desired success. Since day one the systems are running reliably and met the customers expectations by far.
