WINDBOX III+: MSI and spo-comm’s common masterpiece

Michael Sporrer, CEO spo-comm GmbH, says: “Since 2008 we work very close with MSI and are nowadays the most important partner for IPC systems in Europe. Our cooperation is now that trustful and close that the design of the products in the systems division bases on our suggestions mostly.”

While housing and connections are identical to the predecessor model, the mini pc’s functional inside is available in two different variants: On the one hand as a basic model with an Intel Celeron CPU for WINDBOX newcomers, on the other hand as top model with a powerful Intel Core i5 CPU. What both models have in common: They run with the operating systems Windows 8, Windows 7 Embedded and Ubuntu 12.04. The basic model will be less expensive than the previous WINDBOXIII – which will still be available of course – the top model’s prize will be a little bit higher.

As usual the latest model of the mini PC specialists captivates through its simple elegance, good design and lightness as the WINDBOXIII+ weighs about 1,5 kilogramme and therefore is simply to handle in terms of installation. Furthermore it requires less space at the same time. The WINDBOXIII+ is probably available for spo-comm partners exclusively in August 2012, all others can buy it at the beginning of September 2012.
