New places of action: control cabinets

The MOUNT Silver is the first Mini-PC in our portfolio which is by default equipped with a DIN Rail mount. It enables uncomplicated use in control cabinets. Until now, it has only been possible to order it optionally for the BRICK and the WINDBOX series. Thanks to its dimensions of 160 x 118 x 63 mm, our newcomer can be easily installed in control cabinets.

Power-saving industrial PC

To make the MOUNT Silver even better suited for industrial applications, it is equipped with a robust metal housing and a passive cooling system. Its low power consumption of only 7 watts in the Idle and the extended temperature range from 0°C to 50°C also stand out. The centrepiece of the MOUNT Silver is the namesake Intel® Pentium® Silver J5005 processor with 4x 1.5 GHz (up to 2.8 GHz), that is supported by up to 8GB DDR4 RAM. The mass storage can, of course, be configured: From 1TB HDD, to an M.2 or 2.5” SATA SSDs in different capacities, to the power loss protection SSD. What’s also integrated is the graphics unit Intel® UHD graphics 605. The MOUNT Silver is available with the Windows 10 operating systems in the Home, Professional and IoT Enterprise variants, as well as with Linux Ubuntu and Windows 11.

Variety of interfaces

Our new addition continues to impress with its variety of connections, from VGA to COM to USB, the MOUNT Silver is equipped for every need. More specifically, the PC has two video outputs VGA and HDMI 2. 0, four USB 3. 0, two Gigabit LAN ports, a Line-Out jack and four COM RS232/422/485 interfaces. This Mini-PC is therefore ideally suited for a wide range of applications, while the DIN Rail mount always remains the highlight.
